Her unbeaten knock of 127 off 134 balls propelled India to chase down a record target of 339, setting up a final showdown with South Africa in the World Cup.
Australia won the toss and opted to bat first in the semifinal, posting a formidable total of 338 in 49.5 overs. Phoebe Litchfield top-scored with a brilliant 119 off 93 deliveries, while Ellyse Perry contributed 77 off 88 balls. Despite losing both openers early in the chase, Jemimah Rodrigues and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (89) combined for a crucial 167-run partnership as India created history with their stunning victory.
