Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar was killed in Israeli strike on Thursday in Gaza.
Tehran:
Iran’s mission to the United Nations stated on Thursday that the killing of Yahya Sinwar would result in the strengthening of “resistance” in the region. This announcement came shortly after Israel confirmed the death of the Hamas chief.
“The spirit of resistance will be reinforced. He will serve as a role model for the youth and children who will continue to walk the path towards the liberation of Palestine,” the mission expressed in a post on X. “As long as occupation and aggression persist, resistance will persevere, as the martyr remains alive and a source of inspiration.”
