During an appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) expressed her frustrations with the Republican Party, particularly with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), while emphasizing her continued loyalty to President Donald Trump.

One of Greene’s main criticisms of her party revolves around the handling of the government shutdown and the impending doubling of health insurance premiums for the Affordable Care Act. She has taken to social media to call out Johnson for failing to propose any policies to address these issues.

Greene highlighted her disappointment with the lack of action in Congress, stating that while she believes Congress should be solving problems, it has failed to do so. She pointed to the Affordable Care Act as an example, noting how it has negatively impacted the middle class.

Sharing a personal anecdote about her family’s health insurance costs tripling under the Affordable Care Act, Greene criticized both Democrats for passing the legislation and Republicans for not addressing its flaws.

Despite her disagreements with the party on various issues, including U.S. aid to Israel and the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, Greene reiterated her unwavering support for President Trump. She praised his decision to pardon former Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) and endorsed the use of the “nuclear option” by Senate Republicans to end the government shutdown.

Greene emphasized her close relationship with Trump, stating that she has always supported him without expecting anything in return.
