Volos Films Makes a Splash at Taiwan Creative Content Fest with New Slate
Volos Films, a production company with roots in both Italy and Taiwan, is making waves at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) with its new slate of projects. Led by producer Stefano Centini, the company is expanding into scripted drama series while continuing to focus on feature films.

One of the highlights is “Game Never Over,” a feature film adaptation of Sean Chuang’s popular comic “80’s Diary in Taiwan.” Set in the 1980s, the story follows a group of misfit friends who stumble upon a magical arcade that grants wishes. When the arcade closes unexpectedly, the teens embark on a quest to retrieve the mysterious game machine, learning valuable lessons about courage and friendship along the way.
In addition to the feature film, Volos Films is also pitching “The Fundamentals,” a supernatural thriller series set in a remote mountain village in Taiwan. Created by acclaimed director Yeo Siew-Hua and featuring an all-Taiwanese cast, the series promises to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline.
Rounding out the slate is “Never the Bride,” a series produced by Liza DiƱo-Seguerra that delves into the world of luxury weddings in the Philippines. Focusing on the trials and tribulations of wedding planner Sofia Aragaon and her team, the series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the chaos and drama that come with planning extravagant weddings.
With a dual-based structure that bridges European and Asian markets, Volos Films is dedicated to creating content that resonates with audiences across cultures. The company’s recent pitching efforts at international markets like Busan’s Asian Project Market and Rome’s MIA demonstrate its commitment to expanding its reach and exploring new storytelling opportunities.
