The show, developed by 20th TV, will follow Shane and his best friends as they navigate the world of online fame, the impact it has on their friendships, and the tension it causes in their suburban neighborhood.
The untitled pilot will be executive produced and written by Genevieve Aniello, known for her work on “Hacks” and “High Potential,” with Paul Briganti, a director on “Saturday Night Live,” set to direct and executive produce. The pilot is based on an original story by Shane, Aniello, and Briganti.

In addition to his podcast success, Shane released a comedy album in 2024 titled “Puss & Poems,” which reached the top 5 on Billboard’s comedy chart. He also made a guest appearance on the hit series “Hacks” as a social media manager.
Aniello, known for her work on “Hacks,” has received three WGA awards for her writing. Briganti, a segment director for “SNL,” has also worked on various projects including the feature film “Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain.”
Berg and Solomon, producers of “Barry” and “Silicon Valley,” bring their wealth of experience to the project. Berg, a co-creator of “Barry,” has also worked on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Seinfeld.”
