Netflix has announced a new animated spinoff of its popular series, “Stranger Things.” Titled “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85,” the show is set between Season 2 and 3 of the original series and will feature a new cast voicing the iconic students of Hawkins, Indiana.
The logline for the animated series teases an exciting storyline, stating, “Welcome back to Hawkins in the stark winter of 1985, where the original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorizing their town in ‘Stranger Things: Tales From ’85,’ an epic new animated series.”
Unlike the live-action series, “Tales From ’85” will introduce a new set of voice actors for the characters. Brooklyn Davey Norstedt will voice Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Ej (Elisha) Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, and Brett Gipson as Hopper. Additional voice cast members include Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips.
