Barrington Hargress Set to Face Former Teammate Isaiah Moses as Buffs Host Eastern Washington
Barrington Hargress is gearing up to play his second game with the Colorado Buffaloes, where he will face a familiar opponent in Isaiah Moses. Moses, who was Hargress’ backcourt mate at UC Riverside for two seasons, now plays for Eastern Washington and is the team’s leading scorer.
The dynamic duo of Hargress and Moses was broken up by the transfer portal, leading them to different paths in their basketball careers. Hargress landed at CU, taking over the point guard position, while Moses joined Eastern Washington and has been making an impact as a scorer for the Eagles.
Despite a 0-2 record, Eastern Washington has shown promise, battling top teams like No. 12 UCLA and Loyola Marymount. The Eagles’ coach, Dan Monson, has a track record of success, and the team is hungry for a win as they face the Buffs at the CU Events Center.
CU head coach Tad Boyle emphasized the need to respect Eastern Washington and expects a tough matchup. The Buffs are looking to build on their opening night win, with freshman forward Alon Michaeli set to make his debut for the team.
