Six People Shot, One Killed in Separate Incidents Across NYC
Six people were shot and one man was killed in a trio of separate violent incidents across New York City on Sunday night, according to authorities.
The incidents included a triple shooting in the Bronx, a double shooting in Queens, and a fatal shooting in Queens as well, as reported by the police.
Triple Shooting in the Bronx
Police responded to a 911 call in Mott Haven and found three male individuals, including a teen, struck by gunfire. A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were shot in the back, while a 29-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. All three victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
Double Shooting in Queens
Officers responded to a call about multiple people shot in Whitesone. A 39-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were found with gunshot wounds to their arms and torso. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, and a firearm was recovered at the scene.
Fatal Shooting in Crotona
Earlier in the evening, a 25-year-old man was found unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head in Crotona. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
