Man Confesses to Gruesome Murder of Girlfriend with Chainsaw
In a shocking and horrific incident, a man from Arizona, Jeffrey Rael, has confessed to brutally murdering his girlfriend, Paxton Wallace, with a chainsaw. The disturbing confession was made to a 911 dispatcher, where Rael claimed that Wallace was “possessed,” leading him to commit the heinous act.
When police arrived at the Phoenix home, they found Rael armed with a hammer and a cross. The scene was gruesome, with a blood-soaked chainsaw in the kitchen and Wallace’s mutilated remains nearby. The injuries on her body were described as “cutting-type” wounds from a sharp-bladed instrument.
Rael’s call to 911 around 3:40 a.m. revealed his belief that he had to kill Wallace due to her supposed possession. The motive behind the brutal killing is still under investigation.
Following the incident, Rael was taken to a local hospital before being booked at the Maricopa County Jail on charges of first-degree murder. He is currently held on a $1 million bond.
Family members of Wallace expressed shock and disbelief at the heinous crime, mentioning that while they were aware of Rael’s criminal history, they never suspected him capable of such violence.

Alida Wallace, Paxton’s sister, shared that Paxton had been trying to end the relationship with Rael, indicating possible signs of abuse that were not disclosed to the family. She expressed sorrow over the loss of her sister and the betrayal by someone they once considered a loved one.
The tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the hidden dangers of domestic violence and the importance of recognizing and addressing signs of abuse before it escalates to such devastating outcomes.
