CWBChicago was founded in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings.

While our coverage has expanded to include areas like Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and more, our commitment remains the same: to deliver original and detailed public safety reporting that goes beyond what mainstream media outlets offer.
