A shocking incident has come to light involving a former New Jersey GOP aide who allegedly orchestrated a gruesome and deceitful act for political gain. Natalie Greene, 26, was arrested and charged with staging a violent attack on herself at Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve on July 23. According to federal prosecutors, Greene paid a fetish artist $500 to mutilate her body, carving gruesome wounds into her face, neck, back, and shoulders with a scalpel.

The elaborate hoax involved an accomplice who scrawled “Trump Whore” on Greene’s stomach and back, in an attempt to make it appear as though she was targeted for her political beliefs. Photos in the court documents show Greene with deep, grisly cuts on her body and face, as well as the offensive words written on her skin.

Greene, who worked for Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew, allegedly provided the artist with a design for the wounds she wanted gouged into her flesh. Two days after the body modification, Greene’s accomplice called police claiming that she had been violently assaulted. Officers found Greene in a wooded area, hands and feet bound together, with the derogatory words written on her body.

Despite conflicting accounts and faulty descriptions of the alleged attackers provided by Greene and her accomplice, the truth eventually came to light. Black zip ties and duct tape were found in Greene’s car, and her accomplice had searched for zip ties in the area prior to the incident.

Van Drew’s office stated that Greene is no longer associated with the congressman’s office, and they hope she is receiving the necessary care. Greene was charged with conspiracy to convey false statements and hoaxes, as well as making false statements to federal law enforcement. She was arraigned in federal court and released on a $200,000 unsecured bond, facing up to a decade in prison if convicted on both charges.
