Chicago Police Searching for Suspects in Armed Sexual Assault of Teenage Girl
Chicago police are on the lookout for two men following a disturbing incident in Ravenswood Manor where one of them sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint on Friday night.
The teenage girl and her female friend were walking in the neighborhood when they noticed that they were being followed by two men around 9:21 p.m., according to the Chicago Police Department. Once the men realized they had been spotted, they began chasing the girls and eventually caught up with them in the 2900 block of West Wilson Avenue.
Reports indicate that one of the men forcibly dragged the 15-year-old girl into an alley and sexually assaulted her while brandishing a gun. The second man held the girl’s friend at knifepoint to prevent her from intervening.
A nearby resident heard the commotion and quickly ushered the teens into their home for safety. The assailants fled the scene on foot, with their last known direction being east towards Francisco Avenue.
The man who committed the sexual assault is described as “Black Hispanic,” standing between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing between 170 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Nike tech jacket, dark pants, and dark gym shoes. His accomplice, described as “White Hispanic,” is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 135 to 150 pounds, and was also wearing a Nike tech jacket, dark pants, and gym shoes.

CWBChicago was founded in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the inaccurate information being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings.
Since then, our coverage area has expanded to include Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side areas. Our core mission remains the same: to deliver original public safety reporting with in-depth context and detail that surpasses mainstream media outlets.
