Day Care Owner in Loveland Charged with Child Abuse

The owner of an in-home day care in Loveland is facing charges of child abuse after a child was injured at her residence, according to the Loveland Police Department.

An investigation into 51-year-old Michelle Renee Sanders’ day care revealed multiple additional victims, leading to Sanders being charged with four counts of child abuse – one felony and three misdemeanors.

Sanders is currently held on a $125,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on December 1. Authorities believe there may be more victims related to this case.

If you have any information related to this case or if your child was enrolled in Sanders’ day care and experienced any harm or concerning behavior, please contact the Loveland Police Department tip line at 970-962-2032, referencing case LP25-0007224.
