The Legacy of Dancing With the Stars Winners
Since its debut in June 2005, Dancing With the Stars has been a staple on ABC, captivating audiences with its dazzling ballroom routines and celebrity contestants.
Each season, a new batch of stars is paired with professional dancers to compete in various styles of ballroom dance, all vying for the coveted mirrorball trophy. The judging panel, consisting of Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Len Goodman, provides feedback and scores to the couples, guiding them through their dance journey.
Over the years, the show has seen a rotation of judges, with Julianne Hough and Derek Hough joining the panel at different points. In season 29, Derek Hough took on a permanent role as a judge, bringing his expertise as a former professional dancer to the table.
At the end of each season, one star emerges victorious, claiming the mirrorball trophy. The competition became even more significant after the passing of Len Goodman in 2023, leading to the renaming of the prize in his honor.
