Sharon Osbourne Responds to Roger Waters’ Diss Towards Ozzy Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne has spoken out against Roger Waters’ recent comments about her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, calling them disrespectful and tacky. The feud between the two musicians started in August when Waters made controversial remarks about the legendary Black Sabbath frontman, who passed away in July at the age of 76.
In an Instagram post, one fan expressed disappointment in Waters’ remarks, stating, “Is this really what we want to do with Ozzy’s legacy? From what I saw, he didn’t like to slate other musicians, in public anyway. Celebrate the man’s life and music, don’t use his memory as a weapon, it’s just tacky.”
Sharon and Ozzy’s son, Jack, also weighed in on the feud, defending his father against Waters’ criticism. “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did, I have no interest,” Waters had said in his original comments. “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him, in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life,” the Pink Floyd co-founder continued. “Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense.”
The feud between Waters and the Osbourne family has sparked outrage among fans, with many calling for a more respectful approach to discussing the legacy of a music icon like Ozzy Osbourne. It remains to be seen whether Waters will issue an apology for his controversial remarks, but for now, Sharon Osbourne is standing up for her late husband’s memory and calling out what she sees as a lack of respect in the music industry.
