Fierce Battle Ends in Victory for Colorado State Over Colorado Men’s Basketball Team

In a thrilling showdown at Moby Arena, the Colorado men’s basketball team once again faced off against Colorado State in an epic battle that came down to the wire.

Despite a valiant effort, the Buffaloes fell just short for the second consecutive visit to CSU.

CSU’s Kyle Jorgensen made a crucial three-point play with only 1 minute and 18 seconds remaining, while Rams guard Josh Pacarelli sealed the deal with a clutch jumper, securing a 91-86 victory over the Buffs.

This defeat marked the first loss of the season for Colorado, dropping their record to 8-1 and marking their second consecutive road loss at CSU.

At halftime, Colorado State held a 48-41 lead, extending it to 13 points before the Buffs mounted a remarkable comeback, scoring 16 unanswered points in an 18-1 run. The game saw a back-and-forth exchange of leads, but Jorgensen’s pivotal three-point play following Isaiah Johnson’s lead-taking basket ensured the Rams emerged victorious.

Jorgensen also sunk two crucial free throws with just 21 seconds left on the clock.

Pascarelli shone with an impressive 8-for-10 record on 3-pointers, amassing 26 points in a standout performance.

Stay tuned for further updates on this intense matchup.
