β€œBut just like the Liberty Bell, this portal will continue to stand as a symbol of resilience and connection for our city and beyond.”

The portal in LOVE Park is free and open to the public, operating from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Visitors can step inside and communicate with people from around the world in real time, breaking down barriers and fostering global understanding.

β€œI think it’s really cool. I think it’s a good way to meet other people from different countries,” says Sommerer. β€œIt’s like a door that opens to the world.”

As the portal continues to rotate between cities, Philadelphians can look forward to new connections and shared experiences that transcend borders. The City of Brotherly Love truly lives up to its name as it welcomes the world through this innovative and inspiring art installation.
