Exciting Funding Opportunities for Graduate Students at Texas A&M University

Are you considering pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) or Master of Science (MS) in Visualization at Texas A&M University? If so, you’ll be pleased to know that full funding is available for MFA students, while MS students have access to scholarship and assistantship opportunities. The MFA and MS in Visualization programs in the College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts at Texas A&M University offer a unique blend of art and science, technical applications, and creativity.

Master of Science in Visualization

The MS in Visualization program integrates art and technology to groom students as creative and pragmatic leaders. It equips students with a mix of artistic, scientific, cognitive, and technical knowledge. Students can choose a focus area and complete a research thesis or capstone project. Areas of emphasis include augmented and virtual reality, computer animation, data visualization, game design and development, virtual production, interactive design, and user experience design.

Master of Fine Arts in Visualization

The MFA in Visualization program focuses on bridging technical and artistic skills. Students engage in collaborative projects like the Summer Industry Courses and produce original work. The curriculum encourages the development of new technologies and creative applications. Areas of emphasis include augmented and virtual reality, computer animation, data visualization, interactive art, game design and development, user experience design, virtual production, visual storytelling, and visual effects.

At Texas A&M, students have access to cutting-edge virtual production stages and fabrication facilities, a network of industry professionals and visiting artists, state-of-the-art production equipment, cross-disciplinary collaboration opportunities, and a renowned faculty engaged in research and creativity.
