Fashion’s Reign Over: Accused Dine-and-Dash Diva Pei Chung Faces Judge in Brooklyn Court

In a Brooklyn court hearing on Wednesday, accused serial dine-and-dash diva Pei Chung faced the wrath of Judge Orville Reynolds as she traded her designer outfits for a drab olive-colored jail uniform. Chung, 34, who allegedly skipped out on multiple restaurant bills within a month, found herself repeatedly interrupting the judge during the proceedings.

Judge Reynolds finally snapped, “When I speak, you don’t speak! Understand?!”

Chung, dressed in her jail uniform, inexplicably replied, “That is not correct.”

The once Prada-loving influencer, known for flaunting furs and high-end accessories from Louis Vuitton and Hermes on social media, appeared disheveled in handcuffs next to her attorney.

During the hearing, Chung’s lawyer, Henry Dechalus, requested the judge to prohibit photography in the courtroom, citing his client’s concerns about her rights being violated. However, the judge allowed photography, citing the public interest in the case.

On November 26, Chung was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after her lawyer claimed she couldn’t comprehend the charges against her.

Chung has a history of dine-and-dash incidents, with police being called on her at least 10 times for such offenses, including popular eateries like Francie, Lavender Lake, Motorino, and Peter Luger.

In one instance, she allegedly tried to leave Mole Mexican Bar and Grill in Williamsburg without paying a $149 bill. She was charged with theft of services and subsequently sent to Rikers Island.

The courtroom drama continues to unfold as Chung navigates the legal repercussions of her actions, leaving behind her glamorous facade for the harsh reality of facing justice.
