St. Regis Snow Polo Championships in Aspen: A Recap of the Glamorous Event
Phoebe Dynevor, known for her role in Bridgerton, recently attended her first polo match at the St. Regis Snow Polo Championships in Aspen. Dynevor expressed her awe at the breathtaking views of the mountain range behind the horses, making it an unforgettable experience for her. Joining Dynevor in the St. Regis cabana were celebrities like Colman Domingo, supermodels Martha Hunt and Sara Sampaio, and the iconic couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have been Aspen locals since the ’80s. The chalet-style setup provided a cozy setting for partygoers, where Hawn and Russell entertained guests with stories from their past in Aspen and Hollywood while sipping on Bloody Marys.
Event organizer George Fleck shared his vision of creating a fantasy world at the yearly St. Regis event, giving attendees a surreal experience that transports them from reality. The atmosphere was further heightened by the presence of Mikey Madison, Rebel Wilson, Pom Klementieff, and designer Lindsey Thornburg, adding to the star-studded guest list.
The festivities took an unexpected turn when Mariah Carey made a grand entrance as a DJ played her hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” leading the crowd into a spontaneous dance party. The energy was infectious as Carey led a sing-along, creating a magical moment for all in attendance.
As the day turned into night, the party continued with a pre-dinner disco at Caviar Kaspia at The Snow Lodge. Guests like Madison and Domingo changed into elegant attire, with Madison stunning in a Western-inspired black corseted gown. The evening featured Hennessy ‘X Press O’ shots, a DJ set by Jack Abrams, and an abundance of caviar to indulge in.
The final day of the competition saw a stylish crowd, including Shay Mitchell and Phoebe Tonkin, gathering to witness Figueras and his sons Hilario and Artemo emerge victorious. Hilario was crowned MVP of the championship, capping off a successful tournament.
