When Santa and Mrs. Claus decided to surprise their daughter at work by dressing up and driving in their sleigh, little did they know they would be pulled over for speeding in Ohio. The deputy who stopped them couldn’t contain his excitement at encountering the festive couple in the front seats.
With a cheerful “Santa!” the deputy approached the vehicle and discovered the elderly man and his wife in their holiday attire. The deputy couldn’t help but joke about Santa having a CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon), to which Santa replied that times are rough and he needs to protect himself, even at the North Pole.
Santa, caught speeding in his haste to see his daughter, admitted he hadn’t been paying attention to his speedometer. The deputy, playing along, asked for Santa’s driver’s license, knowing his legal name but keeping up the holiday spirit.
The deputy let the couple off with a friendly warning to slow down, ensuring that Christmas was still on schedule. After a photo together and wishes for a Merry Christmas, they all went their separate ways, spreading holiday cheer along the road.
Remember, even sleighs need to slow down sometimes to stay safe during the holiday season. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!
