Lamar Jackson, the star quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, has had a challenging season marked by injuries. From a hamstring issue that kept him out for three games to a recent back injury during their Week 16 loss to the Patriots, Jackson’s health has been a major concern for the team.

These setbacks have led to speculation about Jackson’s future with the franchise. A report from the Baltimore Sun suggested a growing rift between Jackson and coach John Harbaugh, fueling trade rumors with the Miami Dolphins as a potential destination. The report even went as far as claiming that Jackson had been falling asleep during team meetings, adding more drama to the situation.

However, John Harbaugh quickly refuted these claims, stating that there is no tension between him and Jackson. He dismissed the anonymous sources behind the rumors and emphasized his transparent communication with the quarterback. Harbaugh reassured fans that his relationship with Jackson is strong and that they had a positive conversation about football and Jackson’s well-being.

Jackson, who signed a lucrative five-year contract extension in 2023, has had a decent season statistically despite the injuries. With over 2,300 passing yards and 18 touchdowns, Jackson remains a key player for the Ravens.

In terms of his current injury status, Jackson missed a practice session following the back contusion suffered against the Patriots. Coach Harbaugh indicated that Jackson’s availability for the upcoming Week 17 game against the Green Bay Packers is uncertain. If Jackson is unable to play, backup Tyler Huntley will step in to lead the team.

The Ravens vs. Packers matchup is scheduled for Saturday night, and Jackson’s status remains up in the air. Fans will have to wait and see if the star quarterback can recover in time for the crucial game.

Overall, while there have been rumors and speculations surrounding Lamar Jackson’s future and health, the quarterback and his coach have maintained a positive relationship. As the Ravens push for a playoff spot, Jackson’s availability will be crucial for their success on the field.
