Tori Spelling Takes Responsibility for $358,000 in Loans After Divorce from Dean McDermott
The mom of five, Tori Spelling, 52, has taken on the responsibility of $358,000 in loans following her divorce from Dean McDermott. Despite this financial burden, Spelling continues to generate income from her role in Beverly Hills, 90210 and her podcast, misSPELLING.
In November, Spelling revealed that she and McDermott had finalized their divorce, more than two years after their separation. The couple quietly split in June 2023 and filed for divorce in March 2024.
“I am officially divorced. It’s been quite a journey,” Spelling shared with her listeners on the November 10 episode of her podcast. “I gotta say, you guys, this is something never said – this was one of the easiest divorces in Hollywood. You can quote me there. Screw it – take Hollywood out.”
“This is one of the easiest divorces [ever],” she added.
Spelling acknowledged that although she and McDermott faced challenges during their 18-year marriage, their divorce process was surprisingly smooth.
“We had our ups and downs and problems throughout the marriage, but we had absolutely no problems throughout the divorce,” she explained. “We had enough trauma throughout the marriage. Let us have a moment. We have no trauma. This is a drama-free uncoupling and divorce.”
Despite their split, Spelling emphasized that she and McDermott have a clean slate and did not seek anything from each other during the divorce. They aim to set a positive example of co-parenting for their five children: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau.
