CES 2026 is currently taking place in Las Vegas, with the doors open to the public following a series of press conferences and previews. The event has been buzzing with activity, with major players like Nvidia, Sony, and AMD making significant announcements.

One of the key highlights of the event was Nvidia’s presentation by CEO Jensen Huang. The company unveiled its AI model for autonomous vehicles and showcased the Rubin architecture, which is set to replace the Blackwell architecture later this year. The Rubin architecture offers speed and storage upgrades to meet the increasing demands of AI adoption. Nvidia also introduced the Alpamayo family of open-source AI models for use in autonomous vehicles, aligning with its goal to make its infrastructure the Android for generalist robots.

AMD also made a splash at CES with Chair and CEO Lisa Su delivering a keynote that highlighted new processors and partnerships. The company showcased its Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, emphasizing its efforts to expand the reach of AI through personal computers.

In a surprising collaboration, Boston Dynamics and Google announced a partnership on Atlas robots at Hyundai’s press conference. The companies are working together to train and operate existing Atlas robots, as well as a new iteration of Atlas. This collaboration with Google’s AI research lab marks a significant development in the field of robotics.

Amazon also made waves with its AI-centric update, Alexa+, launching Alexa.com for Early Access customers and revamping its bot-focused app. The company also announced updates to Fire TV and introduced new Artline TVs with enhanced Alexa integration.

Razer took a different approach this year with its Project AVA and Motoko announcements. Project Motoko aims to function like smart glasses without the need for actual glasses, while Project AVA brings the avatar of an AI companion to your desk.

Lego made its first appearance at CES with its Smart Play System, featuring interactive bricks, tiles, and Minifigures that can interact and play sounds. The debut sets have a Star Wars theme, adding a new dimension to the iconic toy company’s offerings.

Overall, CES 2026 has been a showcase of the latest advancements in AI, robotics, and technology, with major players unveiling innovative products and partnerships. The event continues to be a hub of excitement and innovation for tech enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
