Mickey Rourke, the iconic 1980s star known for his quick temper, is once again making headlines for his latest outburst. This time, his fury is directed towards a “rogue” filmmaker who is allegedly working on an unauthorized biopic about his tumultuous life.

Rourke recently took to social media to express his anger towards the filmmaker, whom he identified as Chris. In a video posted online, Rourke urged his friends and colleagues to ignore any requests from Chris regarding a film about him, stating that he has not given his permission for such a project.

The actor’s rage doesn’t stop there. Reports surfaced that Rourke owes $59,100 in rent on his Los Angeles home, prompting a crowdfunding campaign to be set up to help cover his bills. However, Rourke quickly distanced himself from the campaign, calling it “humiliating and embarrassing” in a fiery online video. He made it clear that he would never ask for charity and expressed frustration over the situation.

Rourke also revealed that he has been facing financial difficulties in recent years, attributing it to a lack of acting work during the COVID-19 pandemic and Hollywood strikes. He admitted to not managing his career well in the past and emphasized that he is not the same person he once was.

The actor emphasized that the GoFundMe page set up in his name is not authorized and urged anyone who has donated to retrieve their money. He vowed to investigate the matter further with his lawyer and get to the bottom of the situation.

Furthermore, Rourke disclosed that he had stopped paying rent on his Los Angeles home due to unresolved issues with the landlords, which he claims include problems with mice, rats, and plumbing. He stated that he is prepared to fight the case in court and reiterated that he would never ask for money from strangers or fans.

In conclusion, Rourke expressed his hope that the situation would be resolved soon and that he could return to work as usual. Despite the challenges he has faced, the actor remains determined to overcome them and move forward.
