Trump Teases Pardon Request from Diddy
During a recent interview, former President Donald Trump hinted at receiving a pardon request from music mogul Diddy, also known as Puff Daddy. When questioned about the letter from Diddy, Trump teased the interviewer but did not provide any further details.
Trump had previously mentioned on October 6, 2025, that Diddy had requested a pardon from him. “A lot of people have asked me for pardons,” Trump stated during a press conference in the Oval Office. “I call him Puff Daddy, [he] has asked me for a pardon,” Trump revealed without elaborating on the specifics of the situation.
Diddy, who was recently convicted on federal charges related to prostitution, was acquitted of more serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. Despite being sentenced to 50 months in prison, Diddy will not serve the full term as he is receiving credit for time served since his arrest in September 2024.
Originally scheduled for release from FCI Fort Dix in May 2028, Diddy’s release date has been postponed to June 4, 2028, due to a violation of an alcohol rule while in prison.
