Hotshot attorney Alan Jackson made a return to an LA courtroom, this time representing Fraser Bohm, the wealthy Malibu driver charged with murder for the tragic deaths of four Pepperdine sorority sisters. Bohm, who struck and killed Deslyn Williams, Niamh Rolston, Asha Weir, and Peyton Stewart in 2023, was seen in court wearing a grey suit, white shirt, and periwinkle tie. Jackson, known for his high-profile cases, was seen whispering with Bohm and offering support during the hearing.

The defendant, a former Malibu star baseball player, is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter and murder after losing control of his BMW while driving 104 mph on Pacific Coast Highway. The collision with three other vehicles resulted in the deaths of the four young women. The victims’ families and Bohm’s supporters sat on opposite sides of the courtroom, creating a tense atmosphere during the brief hearing.

During the proceeding, Bohm waived his right to a speedy trial, signaling his readiness to move towards a trial date. Jackson expressed the intention to set a trial date at the next hearing scheduled for February 10th. Despite the gravity of the situation, Bohm appeared relaxed and even smiled with friends in the courtroom gallery after the hearing.

This appearance marked Jackson’s return to court after withdrawing from representing Nick Reiner, who is accused of killing his movie mogul parents. When asked about his decision to drop the case, Jackson remained cryptic, stating that there were reasons beyond money that led to his withdrawal. He maintained Reiner’s innocence and emphasized that speculation should be avoided.

Jackson’s professional demeanor and dedication to his clients were evident in both cases, showcasing his commitment to seeking justice for those he represents. As the legal proceedings continue, all eyes will be on the courtroom as the case unfolds.
