Longtime WME Partner Nir Caspi Joins Independent Artist Group
Independent Artist Group (IAG) has announced the appointment of Nir Caspi as the agency’s new head of non-scripted & new media, as well as chief growth officer. Caspi, a former partner at WME, brings with him a wealth of experience in non-scripted TV, documentaries, digital media, sports, and the creator economy.
In his new role at IAG, Caspi will oversee the firm’s alternative & factual division while also spearheading digital media initiatives. Additionally, he will serve as the chief growth officer, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding the agency’s services.
Jim Osborne, CEO, and Kyle Loftus, president of IAG, expressed their excitement about Caspi joining the team, stating, “Nir is exactly the kind of leader we look for—someone who understands both the evolving marketplace and how to empower businesses to meet that need. As we build IAG as the true alternative in the full-service agency space, our focus has been on growth, innovation, and opportunity for our clients.”
Caspi’s impressive track record includes working on projects such as Netflix’s “Queer Eye” reboot and collaborations with A. Smith & Co., Bari Weiss, Breaklight Pictures, and many more. His expertise in building brands and expanding content into multiple extensions will be invaluable to IAG.
Caspi expressed his enthusiasm for joining IAG, citing the agency’s commitment to strategic growth and their position as a top alternative to the Big 3 agencies. He praised the agency’s resources, client base, and momentum, highlighting his excitement to be part of their team.
The news of Caspi’s appointment comes as IAG continues its expansion efforts, with Kyle Loftus recently elevated to the position of president. Hayden Meyer, who previously oversaw alternative & factual at IAG, will transition to a new senior role focused on servicing key clients.
Meyer expressed his confidence in Caspi’s leadership, stating, “Given the monumental changes in the entertainment industry and a significant shift toward influencer-driven content, the time is right, and Nir is the ideal leader to guide the department into the future.”
