This week, we pay tribute to several individuals who have left a lasting impact on the art world. From designers to animators, their work has touched countless lives and will be remembered for years to come.

Harvey Pratt (1941–2025): Designer of the Native American Veterans Memorial
Harvey Pratt, a member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes of Oklahoma, was a self-taught artist known for designing the National Native American Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. In addition to his work on the memorial, Pratt also had a long career creating forensic sketches for law enforcement, contributing to solving high-profile cases involving serial killers like Ted Bundy.

Roger Allers (1949–2026): Animator, Storyboard Artist, and Director
Roger Allers was a talented animator, storyboard artist, and director who made significant contributions to Disney’s animation legacy.
