Authorities in Denver are currently on the lookout for suspects following a hit-and-run incident on Tuesday morning that left a pedestrian hospitalized, as per officials.
The Denver Police Department initially reported the hit-and-run near the intersection of Harrison Street and East 40th Avenue at 7:24 a.m. on Tuesday. This location sits at the border of Denver’s Elyria Swansea, Park Hill, and Clayton neighborhoods.
The pedestrian, who remains unidentified, was transported to the hospital with severe injuries, according to law enforcement.
Eastbound 40th Avenue was shut down at Harrison Street to facilitate the cleanup and investigation of the crash, the department stated.
As of Tuesday morning, no suspects have been publicly named or apprehended.
