Macaulay Culkin Honored with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin was recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with his on-screen mom Catherine O’Hara delivering a heartfelt speech at the ceremony. O’Hara praised Culkin for his iconic performance in the 1990 film, calling it perfect and natural.
“I know you worked really hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do,” O’Hara said to Culkin. She also commended him for his charming and sadistic sense of humor, which she believes is a sign of intelligence in a child.
During her speech, O’Hara humorously mentioned leaving Culkin home alone not once but twice in the film, and expressed her pride in his accomplishments. Culkin, visibly moved by her words, wiped away tears and embraced his former co-star.
While Culkin is best known for his role in Home Alone, O’Hara has also gained new fans in recent years for her performance in the hit series Schitt’s Creek, which earned her an Emmy award. The duo’s reunion at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony delighted fans of both actors.
