Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has addressed and debunked rumors circulating online that he tied the knot at Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous island. In an Instagram story shared on Thursday, Hawk set the record straight about the locations of his four weddings, which took place in Fallbrook, California, the Hilton Hotel in San Diego, Tavarua Surf Island in Fiji, and Adare Manor in Ireland. None of these venues are connected to Epstein’s Little Saint James estate in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The rumors linking Hawk to Epstein stemmed from an email dated October 22, 2024, released by the Department of Justice as part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The email referenced a victim who claimed to have been taken to Epstein’s island at the age of 13, where she allegedly witnessed Hawk’s wedding along with Prince Edward’s presence.
Interestingly, one of the guests at Hawk’s 2006 Fiji wedding was named Mark Epstein, who coincidentally shares the same name as Jeffrey Epstein’s brother. However, Hawk clarified that the guest is a renowned action sports photographer from Wyoming and not related to the convicted sex offender.
Hawk emphasized that he has never met Jeffrey Epstein and has never visited his private island, stressing that these facts are easily verifiable. He concluded by stating, “Facts are not fungible,” in response to the misinformation surrounding his nuptials.
