Levin emphasized that there is a specific detail in the letter that leads him to believe Guthrie is being held within a certain radius of the Tucson area, possibly extending as far as New Mexico.

He mentioned that the letter was received via email and despite the FBI’s efforts in collaboration with the IT team at TMZ, they have been unable to trace its origin. Levin stated, “I am certain that the Bitcoin address is legitimate.”

The letter reportedly contained additional information, such as the exact location where Guthrie stored her Apple Watch in the house and a damaged floodlight.

Levin described the letter as well-structured, organized, and detailed, indicating that it was not hastily written. He clarified, “This is not artificial intelligence. A language teacher would find no errors in its structure and grammar.”

According to Levin, the letter includes two deadlines, one of which has already passed on Thursday, with another “more significant” deadline set for Monday.

While Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos expressed belief that Nancy Guthrie is still missing, no suspects or persons of interest have been identified. However, there has been an arrest made in connection with a fraudulent ransom demand.
