The buzz surrounding Super Bowl LX in the Bay Area has been nothing short of electrifying, and on Friday, the excitement peaked with a fusion of art, fashion, and sports at the second-annual GQ Bowl event. Held at the iconic Legion of Honor museum in San Francisco, guests eagerly awaited the unveiling of Thom Browne’s Fall 2026 collection just before the big game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.

Celebrities like Teyana Taylor and her adorable daughters arrived at the museum, greeted by stunning views of the city skyline and the majestic Golden Gate Bridge in the backdrop. Dressed in a custom charcoal suit by Thom Browne, GQ’s global editorial director Will Welch mingled with guests, expressing his admiration for San Francisco and the collaboration with the sophisticated designer.

As attendees gathered amongst the museum’s impressive Rodin collection for a pre-show cocktail hour, a diverse mix of personalities from music, sports, and film settled in for the highly-anticipated runway presentation. Front row seats were occupied by the likes of François Arnaud, Sunisa Lee, Diplo, Joshua Hong, and Queen Latifah, all eager to witness Browne’s latest creations.

Queen Latifah praised the energy of the Bay Area and the perfect fit of Thom Browne’s designs in such a vibrant setting. Olympic medalist Sunisa Lee also expressed her excitement for Browne’s classic yet innovative pieces.

The runway show, streamed live on GQ’s YouTube channel, kicked off with a theatrical opening featuring model Vinnie Hacker and actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II beneath Rodin’s masterpiece, “The Three Shades.” Browne’s Fall 2026 collection showcased his impeccable tailoring, blending athletic elements with structured suiting, outerwear, and knitwear, with appearances by sports stars like Marcus Allen and DeAndre Hopkins.

Post-show, Browne shared his inspiration from Dante’s Inferno and the significance of presenting at the Legion of Honor, known for its Rodin collection. The collection’s theme resonated with the museum’s artistic roots, creating a harmonious connection between fashion and art.

After the runway finale, guests moved to the courtyard for the after-party, where DJ Kitty Ca$h set the mood alongside Rodin’s “The Thinker.” Dancers clad in Thom Browne attire grooved to NuevaYol, paying homage to Bad Bunny’s upcoming halftime performance. The night concluded with a delicious spread of Raising Cane’s fried chicken, capping off a memorable and stylish event.
