Trump’s Relationship with Epstein: A Closer Look
Despite rumors and speculation, Trump has not been implicated in any of Epstein’s s– trafficking crimes. He has consistently maintained that he wasn’t close friends with the disgraced convicted s– offender, although they did know each other socially.
In a 2002 interview, Trump praised Epstein, calling him a “terrific guy” and noting that they had known each other for 15 years. He even went as far as to say that Epstein liked beautiful women as much as he did, some of whom were on the younger side.
Trump revealed in July 2025 that he had banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club after he repeatedly poached spa employees, many of whom were young women. Trump confronted Epstein about the issue, telling him that he didn’t want him taking people from the club. Despite this warning, Epstein continued to poach employees, leading to his eventual ban from Mar-a-Lago.
It’s worth noting that Trump’s ban of Epstein occurred before Epstein’s 2006 indictment in Florida for solicitation of prostitution. Epstein later pleaded guilty to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor in 2008.
