Lauren Conrad, the former star of ‘Laguna Beach,’ recently celebrated her 40th birthday in style with a high school-themed bash reminiscent of her days on the popular reality show. The birthday party took guests back to her high school prom, which was famously filmed for an episode of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” back in 2004.
Photos from the event, which Lauren shared on Instagram, show her beaming with joy alongside her friends and her musician husband, William Tell. At one point during the party, Tell took to the stage with his electric guitar and entertained the crowd with some tunes.
In her Instagram caption, Lauren revealed that she celebrated her milestone birthday with her three favorite people – Tell and two close friends who were all born just a few weeks apart. The group decided to throw themselves a prom-themed party to celebrate together and had the “BEST time!”
Some of Lauren’s former ‘Laguna Beach’ castmates, including Morgan Smith and Talan Torriero, left congratulatory messages in the comments section of her post. It’s unclear if they were able to attend the throwback shindig.
