Hulu’s “Tell Me Lies” Concludes with Season 3 Finale
Meaghan Oppenheimer, the creator of the hit TV series “Tell Me Lies,” recently announced that the show will come to an end with its Season 3 finale. This toxic love story has captivated audiences since its debut on Hulu in September 2022, based on Carola Lovering’s novel from 2018.
The series delves into the tumultuous relationship between two college students and the complicated dynamics within their friend group. Starring Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Catherine Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Benjamin Wadsworth, Alicia Crowder, and Tom Ellis, “Tell Me Lies” explores love, betrayal, and deception.
Spanning two timelines, the show follows the characters during their college years at Baird College from 2008 to 2010, as well as their lives post-college in 2015. The third season introduces a new romance between Bree and Evan’s best friend, Wrigley, adding a fresh layer of drama and intrigue to the storyline.
Meaghan Oppenheimer shared, “The third season may not have been advertised as the final season, but it was always the ending I had envisioned and pitched years ago.” The show’s exploration of trauma, healing, and unexpected connections has resonated with viewers, making it a compelling watch.
Executive produced by Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss, and a talented team, “Tell Me Lies” has become a standout series on Hulu. The series finale is set to air on Monday at 9 p.m. PT, bringing closure to the gripping narrative that has kept fans on the edge of their seats.
