The tragic incident involving Kris Harrison and his daughter, Lucy Harrison, has left many in shock and disbelief. The body camera footage captured the tense moments after Kris, who was reportedly drunk at the time, shot and killed his daughter following an argument over President Trump.

According to reports, Lucy, who was visiting from the UK, was shot in the chest by her father at his home in Prosper, Texas. Kris, who admitted to being an alcoholic, had relapsed and consumed three glasses of wine on the day of the shooting. The father claimed that the gun, a Glock 9mm pistol, went off accidentally as he was showing it to Lucy before she was about to leave for the airport.

The argument between Kris and Lucy reportedly escalated over their differing political views, particularly about President Trump. Lucy’s boyfriend, Sam Littler, mentioned that the father and daughter frequently clashed over her father’s conservative politics. The incident took a tragic turn when Kris allegedly pulled out the gun and shot Lucy, leading to her untimely death.

Despite being initially investigated for manslaughter charges, Kris was not indicted by a Texas County grand jury. The senior coroner, Jacqueline Devonish, expressed doubts about Kris’s version of events, stating that shooting Lucy through the chest from across the room seemed intentional rather than accidental.

Kris, described as a “functioning alcoholic,” had a history of alcohol-related issues, including a previous alcoholic seizure that left him in a coma. The fact that he had consumed a significant amount of wine on the day of the shooting raised questions about his state of mind at the time of the incident.

The death of Lucy Harrison was ruled accidental by the grand jury, a decision that left her mother, Jane Coates, devastated and perplexed. The tragic outcome of the argument between father and daughter serves as a sobering reminder of the consequences of alcohol abuse and the importance of responsible gun ownership.

The heartbreaking story of Kris and Lucy Harrison highlights the devastating impact of family conflicts and the need for communication and understanding in resolving differences. May Lucy rest in peace, and may her family find solace and healing in the midst of this tragedy.
