ITV Studios has recently announced its impressive London TV Screenings lineup, featuring a variety of exciting shows and series. Some of the highlights include a reality show hosted by Graham Norton, two drama series from Poison Pen Studios, and a new drama series from Russell T. Davies. The star-studded lineup includes names like Dominic Cooper, Romola Garai, Mia Wasikowska, Alan Cumming, Abbie Cornish, Dougray Scott, and Luke Evans.
In an interview with Variety, Tom Clark, the executive VP of global sales and commercial strategy at ITV Studios, discussed the extensive slate, which consists of six new formats, 12 fresh dramas, 21 returning dramas, and 34 non-scripted titles. The presentation, titled “ITV Studios Festivals,” will be attended by 750 international buyers on Feb. 25 at Odeon Leicester Square in London.
Clark emphasized the diverse international offerings in the slate, ranging from contemporary relationship dramas to cat-and-mouse crime thrillers, action thrillers, new survival formats, glossy reality shows, and cooking programs. The slate is produced by ITV Studios’ in-house production companies like World Productions, Mammoth Screen, Plimsoll Productions, Poison Pen, and Quay Street, as well as third-party producers like Various Artists and Helium Pictures.
The scripted shows in the lineup include “Two Weeks in August,” a gripping drama about a group of friends whose holiday takes a dark turn, and “The Rapture,” a psychological thriller based on Liz Jensen’s bestselling novel. Another standout is “The Dark,” a crime thriller from Poison Pen Studios, and “Adultery,” a drama penned by acclaimed screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst.
On the non-scripted side, the slate features two landmark natural history series, “Force of Nature” and “Ages of Ice,” as well as “AI Confidential,” a series exploring the impact of AI on society. Additionally, there is a criminal history series called “Murder Map,” hosted by Vicky McClure and Jonny Owen, and “Unbreakable: The Jelena Dokic Story,” a compelling story of survival and triumph.
One of the highly anticipated shows is “The Claudia Winkleman Show,” a chat show hosted by Claudia Winkleman, known for her work on “Strictly Come Dancing.” The show will feature conversations with celebrities from film, television, music, and more.
