Samsung is generating excitement with the upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, set to be announced on February 25. One of the standout features of the new lineup is an AI-powered image editing suite that allows users to make quick and easy edits directly within the Camera app.

Similar to Google’s Pixel Studio functionality, Samsung’s AI-driven camera features will enable users to remove objects, add elements, and create stickers using natural language prompts. In teaser videos released by Samsung, examples showcase the ability to seamlessly edit photos by simply making requests such as removing an unwanted object from a scene or adding playful elements like a flying saucer to a picture of a cow.

The convenience of having AI-powered editing tools integrated directly into the Camera app eliminates the need to rely on separate editing apps or complex manuals to enhance photos. This feature is reminiscent of Google’s Pixel Studio, which offers similar AI-powered editing capabilities for Pixel phones.

While the Galaxy S26 series is not expected to undergo major hardware changes, the Galaxy S26 Ultra stands out with its innovative privacy screen feature. This feature allows users to block specific elements of the screen from being viewed by onlookers, enhancing privacy and security.

Despite some backlash surrounding a teaser video showcasing the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s AI-enhanced low-light video capabilities, anticipation for the official announcement at Galaxy Unpacked on February 25 remains high. With promises of exciting new features and enhancements, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is poised to make a significant impact in the smartphone market.
