The Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair is back for its second edition at Powerhouse Arts in Gowanus from April 9 to 12, 2026. This year’s fair promises to be even bigger and better, with over 50 exhibitors, hands-on programming, and a juried print exhibition. Presented by Powerhouse Arts in collaboration with Fine Arts Baltimore, the fair is dedicated exclusively to fine art printmaking and provides a platform for print-focused galleries, studios, academic programs, and self-representing artists.

One of the exciting additions to the 2026 program is a juried national print exhibition presented by MGC Community Print Studio. This exhibition, celebrating MGC’s 40th anniversary, showcases contemporary print work selected through an open call. The inclusion of this juried exhibition adds a curatorial dimension to the fair and reinforces its commitment to accessibility and professional development within the print community.

Academic participation is also expanding at this year’s fair, with printmaking departments from institutions across the United States joining New York-based programs. The Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair aims to position the borough as a hub for contemporary print exchange, bringing together education, production, and engagement.

Public programming is a key component of the fair, with talks, demonstrations, guided booth tours, printshop tours, and community-oriented programming scheduled throughout the four-day event. These activities are designed to contextualize the medium of printmaking and encourage dialogue among artists, exhibitors, collectors, and the public. Social programming for exhibitors and attendees further fosters exchange and connection.

Hosted within Powerhouse Arts’s vibrant arts fabrication facility, the fair maintains a close relationship to production and process. The setting underscores an emphasis on material knowledge, collaboration, and the art behind printmaking. Visitors can expect a lively ecosystem of artists, makers, and enthusiasts, all coming together to celebrate the art of printmaking.
