LN-CC in Dalston, east London, maintained its rave-at-the-end-of-the-world atmosphere for 10 hours straight. The 15-year-old fashion concept store has solidified its support for Europe’s emerging designer community, creating a diverse community that encompasses fashion, music, and culture. The shop’s Friday night parties, known as ‘l8te,’ have become a staple event for locals, attracting partnerships with renowned brands like Nike and Yohji Yamamoto. In addition to the lively parties, LN-CC also hosted an immersive yoga session in celebration of the launch of Skin Series and Eden Power Corp’s therapeutic textile workout wear.
The highlight of the evening was the celebration of Leuder’s fall collection and the launch of her exclusive LN-CC capsule collaboration. The event took place in the red glowing basement, usually adorned with carefully curated designs from emerging and established designers. Reece Crisp, LN-CC’s buying and creative director, expressed his admiration for Leuder’s unique identity, emphasizing the importance of a clear vision and identity in today’s ever-changing market. The collaboration showcased shirred football jerseys featuring signature Leuder house styles, a project that stemmed from a natural connection between the designer and LN-CC.
Speaking about the collaboration, Leuder shared, “It’s a perfect match as Leuder loves to collaborate and curate nights with musicians. And LN-CC is an iconic spot.” Crisp added, “Our vision when we redesigned the space was to bring the worlds of retail and nightlife together and provide our partners with a space to activate with conviction. As we evolve that side of the business year on year, we see the space being utilized in many different ways—again, being a chameleon in our approach.”
The fashion-forward crowd that graced the event showcased a mix of Lueder’s shirred jerseys, Chopova Lowena’s carabiner-looped skirts, Fidan Novruzova’s boxy boots, and cargos. Despite the rain, attendees flaunted their Climax bookstore and Aries hoodies with style. The party featured music sets by The Femcels, Mr Wize, and Sacha Kra, while guests enjoyed beer from Two Tribes and local natural wine. Notable personalities like pop star Beabadoobee, casting director Emma Mattel, and models Florence Huntington-Whiteley and Hayett McCarthy added to the vibrant atmosphere.
As the night progressed, the crowd continued to dance and celebrate, setting the tone for a memorable London Fashion Week kickoff. The event captured the essence of LN-CC’s innovative approach to fashion and nightlife, solidifying its reputation as a dynamic hub for creativity and collaboration.
