Priscilla Presley Requests More Time to Respond to Elder Abuse and Theft Lawsuit

Priscilla Presley is facing a new deadline to respond to a lawsuit accusing her of elder abuse and theft. The lawsuit, filed by former friend and business associate Nancy Kruse, was recently amended with additional claims and information that Presley’s attorneys say require more time to address.

On October 21, Judge John E. Jordan granted Kruse’s motion to amend the lawsuit, giving Presley a new deadline of November 12 to respond. However, Presley’s legal team is now requesting an extension, citing the extensive new information in the amended complaint.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Presley’s attorneys stated, “The Second Amended Complaint includes twelve causes of action, seven of which are new, added an additional plaintiff, and contains a series of new allegations. Indeed, the Second Amended Complaint now stands at almost 50 pages with over 180 separate allegations.”

Presley’s attorneys have requested an additional seven days to respond to the amended complaint, stating that they need time to review the new allegations and confer with Presley before submitting a response. The new deadline they are seeking is November 19, 2024.

It remains to be seen whether Judge Jordan will grant Presley’s request for an extension. In the meantime, the legal battle between Presley and Kruse continues to unfold, with both parties preparing for a lengthy court process.
