California Governor Gavin Newsom has disclosed that his family’s opinion is the deciding factor in his potential presidential run.
While in Nashville, Tennessee, to promote his book “Young Man In A Hurry,” Newsom hinted at a possible presidential campaign but emphasized that his four children and wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s approval is essential.
During an interview with CNN, Newsom shared that any decision regarding a presidential run would be a family decision, emphasizing the importance of unity and partnership.
When asked about his family’s stance on his potential candidacy, Newsom admitted that their opinions vary day by day.
He recounted an incident where one of his sons expressed concerns about him running for president, highlighting the importance of spending time with family.
Newsom’s increasing national presence, interactions with President Donald Trump, and media appearances have fueled speculation about his future political aspirations.
As he promotes his memoir, “Young Man in a Hurry,” critics view the rollout as a strategic move to reshape his narrative ahead of a potential 2028 campaign.
When questioned about his intentions, Newsom downplayed any deliberate political strategy, expressing a desire for a more organic approach.
