FBI Director Kash Patel is facing criticism for reportedly using an FBI jet to travel to Italy to watch hockey at the Winter Olympics and celebrate Team USA’s gold medal win.
Patel, a long-time hockey fan, was seen at various games during the tournament and was even spotted celebrating with the team after their victory.
In a video shared by journalist Ken Dilanian, Patel can be seen participating in post-game celebrations with the team.
Another clip shows Patel enjoying himself with the team and President Trump suggesting arrangements for their visit to the White House.
Patel later took to social media to share photos from the celebration and express his pride in Team USA’s victory.
Despite the backlash, Patel defended his actions, stating his love for America and his honor in celebrating with the winning team.
