Maccapani’s Fall 2026 presentation was a unique and inviting experience, showcasing the brand’s new home at 26 Via Leopardi. This space was not just a conventional boutique, but a curated collection of vintage objects, jewelry, and accessories from small independent labels. Everything in the space reflected Margherita Maccapani Missoni’s personal taste, creating a cohesive and intimate atmosphere.
Visitors were encouraged to engage in “window watching,” allowing them to observe Maccapani Missoni’s world from the outside. The brand also began a collaboration with a nearby café, aiming to build a sense of community around their new location. In a departure from traditional fashion presentations, the collection was presented by members of Maccapani Missoni’s family and close friends, rather than professional models.
The designer explained that the development of the brand always starts with a personal need. She wanted to clarify and distill the essence of Maccapani, focusing on the brand’s aesthetic codes. The collection featured rich, textural jersey jacquards, a signature of the brand, used in trousers, cardigans, and dresses. New additions included wool-like jacquards for bomber jackets and overshirts, as well as seamless nylon mesh pieces for body-contouring bodysuits and dresses.
Accessories played a key role in the collection, with belts made from reclaimed vintage garment pockets replacing traditional handbags. This subtle shift hinted at a new direction for the brand, emphasizing sustainability and unique design elements. Overall, Maccapani’s Fall 2026 presentation was a celebration of heritage, personal style, and a redefined brand identity.
