The All Black Sevens team will be without head coach Tomasi Cama for the upcoming New York and Vancouver legs of the World Sevens Series due to visa issues.
New Zealand Rugby confirmed that Cama’s visa application could not be processed in time for him to travel with the team departing today.
Cama, who took over as head coach in August 2023 after a successful playing career, will be replaced by assistant coach Willie Rickards for the two tournaments, with Scott Curry as his assistant.
The Vancouver tournament is scheduled for 7-8 March, followed by New York on 14-15 March.
