Jon Beavers has recently been announced as the newest addition to the cast of NBC’s upcoming drama pilot, created by Dean Georgaris and John Fox. This news has been confirmed by Variety. Joining him is director Jennifer Morrison, who will be taking on a role behind the camera for this project.

The untitled pilot already boasts a talented lineup, with Emily Deschanel set to lead the series alongside An-Li Bogan. Inspired by the real-life work of Dr. Ann Burgess, an expert profiler and author, the show will explore the groundbreaking work of Professor Georgia Ryan (played by Deschanel). Ryan challenges traditional methods of criminology by focusing on the victim rather than just the perpetrator, uncovering crucial clues that are often overlooked. Teaming up with the FBI, she and her colleagues work to solve the most challenging and elusive cases.

Beavers will be portraying the character of Will Andover, a former top profiler at Quantico who experienced a setback in his career. Desperate for a win, Andover finds himself at a crossroads as he navigates his next steps.

Known for his roles in popular shows like “Paradise” on Hulu and the Oscar-nominated film “One Battle After Another,” Beavers brings a wealth of acting experience to the table. His past television credits include appearances in “Animal Kingdom,” “Bel-Air,” and “Sugar,” while his film roles range from “Horizon: Chapters 1 & 2” to “Licorice Pizza.” Represented by Artium Talent, Untitled Entertainment, and Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Beavers is poised to make a strong impression in this new project.

The pilot is being helmed by writers and executive producers Dean Georgaris and John Fox, with John Davis serving as executive producer through Davis Entertainment. In addition to her starring role, Emily Deschanel will also produce the show. Consulting producers include Dr. Ann Burgess and Steve Constantine. Jennifer Morrison will not only direct the pilot but also serve as an executive producer on the project. Universal Television is on board to produce the series.
