Actress Hassie Harrison Joins Cast of “Baywatch” Reboot
Hassie Harrison, known for her role in “Yellowstone,” has been announced as the newest addition to the cast of Fox’s upcoming “Baywatch” reboot. Joining a talented ensemble that includes Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi, and Thaddeus LaGrone, Harrison’s character Nat is described as a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete who sets the gold standard in lifeguarding. With her brilliance, drive, and loyalty, Nat is set to be a pivotal character in the series, serving as Hobie’s right hand and closest friend while holding everyone to the same high standards she has for herself.
Harrison’s acting credits include the thriller “Dangerous Animals” and upcoming films like “The Rescue,” “Deep Eddy,” and “Raven.” Her recurring role as barrel racer Laramie in “Yellowstone” showcased her talent, and she has also appeared in HBO’s “It’s Florida, Man” and Shane Gillis’ Netflix series “Tires.”
Set to premiere during the 2026-2027 TV season, the new “Baywatch” features Amell as Hobie Buchannon, Belkin as Charlie Vale, Chokachi reprising his role as Cody Madison, and LaGrone as Brad. The series follows Hobie as a Baywatch captain, with unexpected family dynamics and familiar faces adding to the drama of lifeguarding on the iconic beaches.
Produced by Fox and Fremantle, “Baywatch” has already garnered attention with a 12-episode order for its revival. Showrunner Matt Nix leads the creative team, with McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, and others serving as executive producers. McG will also direct the series premiere episode, promising an exciting start to the reboot.
Fox Entertainment Global and Fremantle are collaborating on the series, with domestic distribution rights held by Fox and international sales managed by Fremantle. Harrison’s representation includes Gersh, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole, showcasing her strong support system in the industry.
