Tony! Toni! Toné! lead vocalist, D’Wayne Wiggins, left behind a substantial estate worth around $700K after his passing, igniting a heated family dispute nearly a year after his demise. Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that D’Wayne’s daughter, Ilahn Wiggins, is at the center of the legal battle.

Ilahn claims that her father, who tragically passed away last year, had recently tied the knot with a woman named Dori Wiggins prior to his death. She also disclosed that D’Wayne had two sons in addition to her.

In a surprising turn of events, Ilahn revealed that the individual listed on her father’s death certificate as the trustee of his estate is none other than D’Wayne’s niece, Veleta Savannah. Ilahn alleges that Veleta promptly assumed control over the estate, informing D’Wayne’s children that she was the designated administrator and prohibiting them from accessing their father’s residence.

Further complicating matters, Ilahn believes that Veleta utilized a Power of Attorney document to withdraw a substantial sum of $20K from D’Wayne’s bank account. She and her siblings are adamant that Veleta is not the rightful administrator of the estate and that their father had no intentions of altering his will to exclude them from their rightful inheritance.

The siblings are convinced that D’Wayne’s final will was executed during a period when he was under heavy medication and receiving end-of-life care, potentially impacting his mental acuity. They suspect that the medications may have influenced D’Wayne’s decision-making process regarding his estate.

In response, Veleta vehemently disputes these claims, asserting that D’Wayne was of sound mind when he made the decision to disinherit his children. The conflicting narratives have set the stage for a legal showdown, with a trial scheduled for September to resolve the matter.

As previously reported by TMZ, D’Wayne Wiggins passed away on March 7, 2025, in Oakland, California, following a courageous battle with cancer.
